ReCaFo Team Volunteers at GMHC’s Thanksgiving Dinner

Here at ReCaFo our mission is not only to grow a successful company by putting Caribbean food on the map, but a part of our company’s lifelong mission is to make an indelible mark in people’s lives. This year we commenced this initiative by volunteering at the GMHC’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner here in NYC and it was a great success. We helped feed over 500 people who otherwise would have not been able to afford a hearty Thanksgiving meal. The Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) is a charity that seeks to help gay, transgender, bisexual and even straight men and women who are battling HIV/AIDS and other problems that affect their community. We saw this an interesting way to reach out to these people and bridge the social gap between businesses and the gay community.

We look forward to volunteering, sponsoring and supporting many charities and organizations through our own David Wisdom Foundation as we seek to play our part in alleviating poverty, controlling the spread of HIV/AIDS, feeding the hungry and helping the less fortunate in general.
