Jamaican Curried Shrimp for Sunday Dinner

It is Sunday and we know you are looking some inspiration to get your Sunday meal started, so today we will give you a tasty Curried Shrimp recipe for you and your family to enjoy. So get in the kitchen and gather these items:

Ingredients

2lbs of shrimp (peeled and deveined)
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of Jamaican curry powder

2 tablespoons ReCaFo Sweet & Spicy Sauce
2 onions
1 hot pepper (ideally Scotch Bonnet)
4 cloves of garlic
1 tomato
1/2 a sweet pepper
2 stalks of scallion
1/2 a teaspoon of salt
1/2 a teaspoon of pepper
1/2 a cup of water
1 teaspoon of cornstarch

Directions

Cooking

Curry Shrimp - Preparing the vegetables

Chop the onion, scallion, pepper, garlic, tomato, sweet pepper and garlic

Curry Shrimp - Seasoning the shrimp

Mix the shrimp in a bowl with one tablespoon of curry powder

Curry Shrimp - Frying the curry powder

Melt the butter in a large pan and add the other tablespoon of curry powder
Fry for about 1 minute

Curry Shrimp - Frying the vegetables

Add the onion, scallion, pepper, garlic, tomato, sweet pepper, garlic, salt and pepper to the pan
Fry for about five minutes

Curry Shrimp - Adding the shrimp

Add the shrimp

Simmer for about five minutes
Curry Shrimp - Adding the water

Add the water and ReCaFo Sweet & Spicy Sauce
Cook for a further five minutes

Serving

Curry Shrimp - Serving

Serve with rice and peas and salad
